Elizabeth Tours & Travels

Elizabeth Tours & Travels is located in Munawarabad, Srinagar 190001. We are right near the old walnut factory. If you know this part of town, you know it gets quite busy during the day. Our office is just opposite the Ueed Department. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular room where we sit and handle bookings for people coming through. We've been at this address for a while now. Some mornings the tea arrives late from the shop downstairs, but that’s just how things go. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who drop by to check the schedules. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, especially near the factory gates, but we like being in the middle of it all. We have a few old wooden chairs for guests to sit on while we check the papers. The floor is a bit worn from people walking in and out over the years. We keep a small stove for making tea when it gets cold in the winter months. People usually find us by looking for the big Ueed building first since our sign is a bit small. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just a few of us making sure cars are ready and hotels are informed about who is arriving. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just sit on the porch and wait. Living and working in Srinagar means you get used to the rhythms of the seasons.
