Discover J&K

You can find us located just behind the Golfscor area in Srinagar. It is a bit of a quieter spot compared to the big main markets, and I actually like it that way. Discover J&K has been operating out of this small space for several years now. We are not a massive company with hundreds of employees or a big call center. It is just a few of us working here, trying to help people see the rest of Jammu and Kashmir. Most of our day is spent on the telephone, checking on hotel bookings or talking to our drivers who are out on the roads. Srinagar is a beautiful place, but it can be a bit complicated to get around if you do not live here. We try to make it a little bit simpler for the people who come to visit. Our office has some maps on the walls and we always have a pot of tea ready for anyone who drops by to talk. We do not use any flashy signs or big posters to get attention. We just do the daily work of organizing trips and making sure people have a car. Sometimes the internet goes out or the phone lines are down, but we always manage to get things done. Being behind the golf course makes it easy for us to reach different parts of the city without too much trouble. We know the local drivers well and we trust them.
