We've been running Dastan Tours And Travels for a bit now, right here near Zero Bridge in Srinagar. If you know the Nawa-1 Subh Complex, that's exactly where we sit. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Most days involve handling calls and helping people figure out their trips. Srinagar is home to us, so we know the roads and the shortcuts around here pretty well. We aren't a big fancy agency with hundreds of people. It’s just us doing the daily work. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones ring at the same time, but we get through it. The office is easy to find if you're walking across the bridge. We handle bookings and transport stuff mostly. It's not always perfect, things change last minute in travel, but we try to keep things moving. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen the area change. People stop by to ask directions sometimes even if they aren't looking for a tour. We don't mind. Dealing with travel means being ready for anything. It's a lot of talking and organizing. If you are looking for the Subh Complex, we are in the first part of it. We keep things pretty simple around here. No big brochures or loud music, just a desk and some chairs and work to do. It feels like a real local shop because that is exactly what it is. We just keep our heads down and work.
