Dar General Store1 is right over by Sirsyed Gate Hazratbal, near Kashmir University. It’s been here for a good bit of time now, and we mostly see people coming and going from the university area. It isn't a huge place, just a regular shop where you can find things you need for the house or if you're a student living nearby. Usually, someone is behind the counter from morning till late evening. We keep the shelves stocked with everyday items like snacks, tea, soaps, and those little things people forget to buy until they run out. The street gets busy during the day because of the gate. Sometimes the weather gets cold and people just pop in to get something quick before heading home. There is no fancy layout or anything. Just rows of goods and a freezer for drinks. Most of the people who come here are regulars who live around Kashmir University or work nearby. We know a lot of them by face. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things are in order. If you walk past the gate, you'll see us there. It's a convenient spot for the locals in Srinagar. We try to keep things quiet and straightforward. Nothing much else to say about it, it’s just a store for the neighborhood. People stop by, get their groceries, and move on with their day. That’s how it goes here every day.
