You'll find us over in Pati Rampora in the Ganderbal area, not too far from the main parts of Srinagar. Gh. Rasool Najar is the one who handles the mail and the main office tasks here. The name sounds a bit tough, but we are just a group of people interested in helping out families in the local community who are going through a rough patch. We deal with welfare issues mostly. Sometimes that means helping someone get their documents sorted or finding resources for people who are struggling. It's a small place and we aren't part of some big national chain. We know the people around Ganderbal because we live here too. Often, people just come by the house to talk about problems they’re having with local services or just to see if there’s any support available for their kids. We keep things pretty informal. There’s no need for suits or big meetings. We just sit down and see what needs doing. The weather in Srinagar can be a bit of a hurdle sometimes, especially when the roads get messy, but we try to stay open as much as we can. It's more of a community effort than a formal business. We don’t have a lot of funding, so we just do what we can with what’s on hand. It’s just us trying to keep things moving for the folks in our neighborhood. We’ve been at this for a while and aren't going anywhere.
