Chill & Chew

We are tucked away in Surteng, which is in the Rainawari area of Srinagar. Chill & Chew is the name we went with. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city center, but we have our fair share of locals coming by. Srinagar 190003 is where we call home. We started this place because we wanted a spot where people could get something to eat without any fuss. The shop isn't very large, but we've made it work. We spend most of our time in the back preparing things or cleaning up. It’s just the two of us usually. Rainawari is a nice neighborhood, and we like being part of the daily life here in Surteng. Sometimes when the weather gets cold, things slow down a bit, but we still keep the doors open. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything corporate. We just wanted a simple shop where the food speaks for itself. It’s not always perfect; sometimes we run out of certain ingredients or the delivery is late. That’s just how things go. We try to be honest with our customers and they seem to appreciate that. Most of our visitors are people who live just a few streets away. It’s a nice feeling when you recognize everyone who walks through the door. If you’re ever wandering through Surteng, you can find us there. It’s just a small, local business.
