Camz World

Our shop, Camz World, is tucked away in Karan Nagar, right near the National School. If you find the Aims building, you’ve basically found us. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the boxes around, but we manage. We’ve got cameras and gear scattered across the counters because we’re usually right in the middle of testing something out. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to chat about a lens or a tripod they’re looking for. It’s not some big showroom with bright lights. Most of the time, the floor needs a sweep and the desk is a mess of cables. We like it that way though, it feels real. Being near the school means there’s always kids and parents walking past, and we hear the school bells all day long. We’ve seen a lot of people start out with a basic kit and slowly get more into it. We aren't here to give a sales pitch, we just show what we have in stock and let people decide. Sometimes we stay late to finish up some work, and other times we close a bit early if things are slow. It’s just a local business run by folks who know their way around a camera. Karan Nagar is a decent place to be. We don't really do the whole fancy marketing thing. We just keep our doors open and see who comes in. It has worked out okay for us so far in this little corner.
