Blue Ocean Tour & Travels

We are set up near the J&K Bank in Srinagar, specifically in the 190001 area. Blue Ocean Tour & Travels is the name on the door, but most people just know us as the guys near the bank. We’ve been operating from this little office for a good bit of time. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the bank is. We mostly spend our time arranging taxis and looking at schedules for trips around the mountains. It's not a very quiet job because the street outside is always noisy with cars and people walking by. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who handle the paperwork and talk to the drivers. Sometimes things get delayed because of the traffic or the weather, but that's just how it goes in Srinagar. We try to stay organized with our bookings. If someone needs to get to the airport or wants to spend a few days out in the meadows, we sort that out. We don't have any flashy brochures or a big reception area. It’s just a room with some maps on the wall and a couple of computers that sometimes work slow. We like being in this part of town. It feels like we are in the middle of everything. We just do our daily tasks, talk to the customers, and make sure the vehicles are ready to go when they are needed. Most days we close up late and head home.
