Our workplace is inside the Taj Complex, right there at Budshah Chowk. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise coming up from the street. The building itself has been around for quite a while, and you can tell by the stairs and the way the hallways are laid out. We are usually tucked away in our office most of the day, surrounded by piles of manuals and equipment parts. It’s not a very large space, so things can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in. We keep a small stove in the corner for making coffee because the walk down the stairs to the street can be a bit much when we’re busy. Most of the other folks in the Taj Complex are doing similar things, so you see familiar faces in the hallways all the time. The light in our office isn't the best, but we’ve got enough lamps to see what we are doing. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computers, trying to keep everything sorted. Budshah Chowk is a landmark for most people, so it’s easy to tell people where to find us. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone comes by, one of us just looks up from our desk and says hello. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in the city.
