Bhat General Store

The shop is right there near New Airport Road in Parray Pora. You can't miss it if you are heading towards Hyderpora. We've been in Budgam for a long time now. It is a simple place with shelves full of things people need every day. Mostly we just sell basic groceries and household stuff. The mornings are usually the busiest because people are going to work or catching flights near the airport. We open up early to make sure the bread and milk are ready. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it clean but with the road nearby, dust always finds a way in. It's a small space, so things are stacked pretty high. Sometimes we have to use a stool to reach the top boxes of biscuits or soaps. Parray Pora is a decent neighborhood and most of our customers are just the people living in the houses around here. We know most of them by name. It is not a big supermarket or anything like that. Just a corner store where you can grab what you forgot to buy at the main market.
