It’s not a big headquarters, just a place where we can sit down and figure out how to help the people in the 192101 zip code. We started this because we saw too many people struggling with things that shouldn't be so hard. We don't have a big board of directors or anything like that. It's just a couple of us who care about Anantnag. Most of what we do is small-scale stuff. We might help someone fix a roof or get the medicine they can't afford. It’s practical work. We don’t spend money on advertising because everyone knows where we are anyway. Word of mouth is how we find the people who really need us. Sometimes the work is tiring, and we don't always have the answers right away. But we try to be there for people regardless. Life in Mathanddoo can be tough, but the people are strong. We just want to be a little bit of support for them. There isn't any corporate polish here. Just some dusty desks and a lot of local knowledge. We do our best with what we've got and hope it makes a difference to someone's day. It isn't much, but it's what we have to offer. We’re usually here most mornings if anyone wants to stop by for a chat or needs some help.
