Banday Impex Pvt.Ltd. is tucked away in the Industrial Estate over at Khunmoh. Specifically, we are in Phase 2, inside the Food Park area. It’s an interesting place to work because there’s always some kind of activity happening nearby. Trucks coming in, people moving crates, that kind of thing. Our Agro Division handles most of the daily operations here. The air usually smells like whatever is being processed in the neighboring units. It isn't always quiet, but that is part of being in an industrial zone. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit of time. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of paperwork. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a glossy magazine, but it’s where we get the work done. Getting out here to Khunmoh takes a little effort if you’re coming from the city, but we’ve grown fond of the surroundings. The mountains are visible on clear days, which is a nice break from looking at computer screens. We don’t really do fancy presentations or long meetings about nothing. Most of the time, it’s just us figuring out the logistics and making sure things are headed where they need to go. It’s a steady pace most weeks. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when deadlines approach, but we manage just fine in the end.
