Ark Printers

You can find Ark Printers over at Shed No. 5 in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Shalteng. It’s a cold place in the winter, and we usually have a small heater going while the presses are running. The smell of ink is the first thing you notice when you walk in. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere—different weights, colors, and sizes. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend our days watching the rollers spin and making sure the colors aren't coming out wrong. Shalteng is a busy industrial hub, so there are always people moving about and trucks loading up nearby. Our shed isn't anything fancy, just a big open space with our machines and a small desk in the corner for the bills. We mostly do work for local businesses who need flyers or forms. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon with a wrench in hand. It’s just how it is with older equipment. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here in Sidco and they drop by when they need something printed. It’s a simple life, filled with the sound of rhythmic clicking from the machines. We just keep our heads down and get the pages through.
