Anwar Ul Islam Foundation

Anwar Ul Islam Foundation is in the Noushera part of Srinagar. We are located near Mughal Masjid Hawal, specifically care of Sheikh Gulam Mohammad. It’s a place with a lot of history, and we are glad to be part of it. We aren't some big, polished organization with a lot of money to spend on offices. We just have a quiet spot where we do our work. Being near the masjid is nice because it’s a central part of our community. We don't have a marketing department or any fancy brochures. Most people know us just by word of mouth. We focus on being useful to the people in our neighborhood. The office is a bit old, and things aren't always in the right place, but we know where to find what we need. We don't use complicated words or try to sound more important than we are. We are just local people from Srinagar trying to do some good. Sometimes it’s a struggle to keep everything moving, but we do our best. We don't have a corporate structure, just a group of us who care about what happens in Noushera. It’s honest, practical work. We show up, sit down, and get to it every day. It’s a simple way of living and working in Jammu & Kashmir. We don't need any fancy titles to get our daily tasks done.
