Padday

Padday is located right in Chandni Chowk, Anantnag. It’s a busy spot with lots of people moving around every single day. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we have seen the seasons change. Being in Anantnag means we are right in the middle of everything. It is not a big corporate setup at all. We just have our own small space where we handle things. The shop or office—whatever you want to call it—is pretty easy to find if you are walking through the market in Chandni Chowk. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. It is a local place. We don’t have a big marketing budget or any of those fancy slogans. We just do what we do. People around here know us by name. We deal with whatever comes up during the work day. Sometimes the power goes out, or it gets really cold in the winter, but we just keep going. It is just how it is here. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get our work done and head back home. We keep things simple. If you ever come by, you will see we are just regular people. We talk about the weather and the local news while we handle the business. It is a small operation. We handle the paperwork and the customers who stop in. It is not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is.
