You can find Ali Shah Crafts Private Limited over near the HDFC Bank in Nishat. We are set up care of Tahir Ahmad Shah at the Nishat Hill Resort in the Brein Nishat area. It’s a beautiful part of the world, sitting right near the hills. Being close to the resort means there are often tourists around, but we stay focused on our crafts. The office isn't part of the main resort rooms, but it’s on the same property. It’s a bit of a walk up the path to get to us. We have a lot of samples lying around the place, which makes it feel a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The air is crisp up here in Nishat, especially in the mornings when the mist is still on the hills. We don't have a big fancy storefront. People usually just find us because they know Tahir or they see our name on the local registers. The building itself is older, with heavy wooden doors that have a lot of character. We spend most of our time talking to local artisans or checking on the quality of the crafts we have in stock. It’s a slow-paced kind of life compared to the big cities, but we have plenty to keep us busy. The proximity to the bank makes it easy for us to handle the financial side of the business without traveling too far. It's a decent way to spend the work week.
