Al Hussain Tours & Travels (Head Office)

Lal Chowk is always the center of everything here in Srinagar 190001. Our head office for Al Hussain Tours & Travels is in the Mpl Building, right across from the main gate of Biscoe School. If you’ve ever been there around school finishing time, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the students and parents. We’ve been in this building for quite a bit of time. It’s an old place with character, maybe a few squeaky floorboards here and there. Being at the main gate area means we see everything that happens in the heart of the city. We spend our hours mostly answering emails and talking to folks who walk in off the street. Since it’s Lal Chowk, we get all sorts of people asking for directions. We don't mind. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and old files, but we know where everything is. You can hear the school bell ringing clearly from here, which usually tells us it's time to start wrapping up for the day. The hallways of the Mpl building are a bit dim, but once you step into our office, there's enough light from the street. We don't do those big presentations or use corporate talk. We just sit down and talk about the travel plans. It can get stressful when the traffic stalls outside, but that’s life here. We focus on getting the details right for the trips. It’s a busy life, but it makes us feel connected.
