Akbar Group Of Heritage Houseboats

We are located over at Nawab Bagh 2, near the 300Kva area in Srinagar. Akbar Group Of Heritage Houseboats is basically a family-run thing. We have these old houseboats that have been on the water for a long time. They need a lot of looking after, especially with the wood and the paint. Living on the water is different than a house on land, and we spend most of our time keeping things tidy for people who stay. It is quiet out here, away from the main road noise. Our address is a bit specific because of the power station nearby, which makes it easier to find us. We aren't a big hotel chain or anything fancy like that. It is just us making sure the boats are floating right and the rooms are clean. Sometimes the water gets cold in the winter, so we have to manage the heating. We have been doing this for years, passed down through the family. You get to meet a lot of different people from all over. It is hard work keeping up with the maintenance of heritage boats, but we take it day by day. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It is just a place to sleep on the lake. If you want a stay that isn't a box in a building, that's what we have here. We are usually around if someone needs anything. We just keep things simple.
