We've been over here at the Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute in Pampore for quite a while now. It’s a pretty busy spot right in Kashmir, mostly just helping folks get their new business ideas off the ground. A lot of people come through these doors wanting to start something of their own, and we try to give them a bit of a hand with the basics. The building itself is pretty well-known around here, so we’re easy to find. We spend most of our days dealing with a lot of paperwork, talking to young people, and just trying to keep things moving along. It isn't always smooth sailing, to be honest. Sometimes the internet is spotty or things get delayed for reasons we can't control, but we just keep at it. People know where to find us if they need help with their business plans or just want to see what might be possible. We don't really do fancy ads or anything like that. Most folks just hear about the Aic-Jammu And Kashmir Edi Foundation by word of mouth or through someone they know. It’s basically just us working from the main JKEDI campus. We try to keep the lights on and the doors open for anyone in the 191101 area who's trying to make a go of it. It’s decent work, and the winters make it a bit tough to get things done, but that’s just how it is living here.
