Adisamarth Foundation

Adisamarth Foundation is located up in the hills, specifically at Badresh Kumar’s place. The full address is Kaniya Lal Chaprolidevprayag in the Srinagar area of Pauri Garhwal. It’s a beautiful part of the country, but it can be a bit of a trek to get here sometimes. We don't have a typical business office setup. It’s more like a home where we all gather to work on local projects. Since we are in Pauri Garhwal, we deal with a lot of specific mountain issues that people in the cities might not understand. We started this because we live here and we saw that things could be better if we just organized ourselves a bit. We don't have fancy titles or a bunch of rules. It’s mostly just Badresh and a few others looking at what needs to be fixed or who needs a hand with something. We spend a lot of time talking to the villagers and people passing through Srinagar. The pace of life is a bit slower here, which suits us just fine. We aren't trying to grow into some huge organization. We just want to do right by our neighbors in Devprayag. It’s honest work and we do it from our own space. If you are ever in the area, you’ll see it’s just a normal house where people are trying to be helpful and look after the community as best as they can.
