Abdul Majid Provisional Store is located in Batamaloo, Srinagar, right near the J&K Bank. Being near the bank is actually quite good for us because there are always people walking around doing their errands. They often stop in to pick up things they forgot for their kitchen or just a quick snack. We have been here in this spot for a long time. We carry all the provisional items like grains, oils, and household cleaners. Srinagar can be a tough place to run a business sometimes because of the weather and other things, but we keep going. We don't have any polished mission statements or fancy goals. Our goal is just to make sure we don't run out of the things our customers ask for. The shop is usually a bit busy, and there’s always a lot of chatter. We know most of the local people and their kids. We’ve seen them grow up. It’s a very humble place. We don't spend money on advertising; we just rely on people knowing we are here. If you need something for your house, you just come by the bank and you’ll see us. We work hard every day, from morning till late, and that’s just how we like to live our lives. We are just people helping other people with their daily needs, nothing more and nothing less.
