3B Traders

Our shop is located right on X-Change Road, not too far from the Budshah Bridge here in Srinagar. If you know where the petrol pump is, you basically know where we are. It’s a lively part of the city, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get across the bridge. We’ve been running 3B Traders from this spot for a good bit of time. We deal with various items, mostly things people need for their daily projects or local business needs. The space isn't huge, so boxes often end up stacked a bit high, but we know where everything is kept. It’s mostly just us chatting with neighbors and helping whoever walks in find what they’re looking for. Srinagar can get cold, so we usually have some tea going for anyone who stops by to escape the wind. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just buying and selling and keeping the books as straight as we can. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to reorganize the shelves. We don’t use any complicated systems. It’s just old-fashioned trading. If the traffic isn't too bad near the petrol pump, it’s a quick stop. We like being part of this neighborhood. There’s always someone passing by with a story. We just keep the shutters open and wait for the next delivery to arrive. It’s a simple life.
