Sri Kalahasthi Pipes Ltd

Sri Kalahasthi Pipes Ltd is located over at 254/84 in the Kalahasth Namdal area. We are out in Chittoor Rachagunnari, which is near Tirupati. It’s a pretty large setup compared to some of the smaller shops around. We have a lot of ground covered with pipes of all different diameters. The sun is usually quite strong out here, so the yard gets very hot during the day. We have quite a few people working here to manage the production and the loading. It’s a serious operation but we don't act like some big city office. Most of us are from the nearby villages. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out every day, which keeps the gates busy. The road leading up to the plant isn't always in the best shape, especially after the monsoon rains. We just focus on making the pipes and getting them sent out to wherever they are needed. There is always a lot of noise from the machinery. We have a small office area for the billing and the phone calls, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It’s a dusty, loud environment, but that's what you expect in this line of work. We’ve been a part of this landscape for years. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just do the work and go home to our families at night. Some days are faster than others, depending on the orders. We don't have a lot of fancy brochures or a big marketing department. We just have pipes and people who know how to move them.
