Anus Dental Clinic

Over on Bangalore Road in the Kothakota area is where Anus Dental Clinic sits. It’s a bit of a dusty spot sometimes because of the trucks moving along the main road, but it’s a good location for people to find us. I work here most days and it’s usually just me and the doctor. We have a couple of dental chairs and the usual cabinets full of supplies like gauze and those little mirrors. The floor is tile, which makes it easier to sweep up after a long day. I usually arrive a bit early to open the shutters and let some fresh air in before the sun gets too high. Beerangi is a quiet enough place most of the time, though the traffic on Bangalore Road never really stops. We get people from all over the neighborhood coming in with various tooth problems. Some are just kids who lost a tooth and others are older folks needing some help. We don’t have a big staff, so I end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to mopping the floor. It’s a practical place. The waiting room has a small bench and a fan that’s a bit noisy but it works fine. I like looking out the door at the shops across the way when it’s quiet. We just do our work and try to keep things simple for everyone who walks in. It’s a regular job for us.
