Tanushree Ice Cream Parlour

We are at 6-9-65 on the Rama Mandir Main Road in Amadalavalasa. It is a good central location, so we see many people passing by on their way to the temple. The road is usually loud with scooters and people chatting, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We have a few simple benches inside so folks can sit down for a minute and get out of the sun. The shop isn't very large, just enough for the display cases and a bit of room to move around. We spend a lot of time wiping the glass because people always lean on it while they are looking at what we have. The dust from the main road comes in constantly, so we are always using the mop or a cloth. We open up early to get everything ready before the heat of the day really starts. Amadalavalasa gets very warm, and that is usually when the shop fills up. We don't have any corporate uniforms or big slogans. We just wear what works for a long day of standing and serving. Most of our customers are people we see every day, just neighbors doing their errands. We keep the fans on high to try and keep the air moving. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized if a delivery is late, but we make do. It is just a small local shop on a busy street, doing our best to keep things running.
