Srinivasa Traders

Being near the Rytu Bazar in Rajam means there is always something going on outside our door. Srinivasa Traders is right in the thick of it. Early mornings are the craziest time because that’s when the market really wakes up and people start moving around. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and customers. You see a lot of different faces every day. The noise from the bazar carries right into our shop, so it’s never really quiet. We deal with various goods, whatever the local market is demanding at the time. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we try to keep enough stock on hand. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is kept. The floor is usually covered in bits of packing material or dust from the street. We don’t mind it much. It’s just part of being in a busy trading area. We have a couple of guys helping with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. Most of our work is just practical stuff, like checking the quality of what comes in and making sure it gets to where it needs to go. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. If you’re at the Rytu Bazar, you’re only a few steps away from us. It’s a simple way to make a living, and it keeps us on our toes.
