We are located at 5-589/A on the main street of Nadukuru village, within the Veeraghattam Mandal. Being in Srikakulam, we are quite far from the big urban centers, and our office reflects that village lifestyle. It’s a small place right on the road, so we see everyone passing by on their bikes or walking to the local shops. The office consists of a front room where we meet people and a back area where we keep all the records and files. It’s nothing special to look at, just a regular building with some paint peeling on the walls here and there. We spend our days tracking the chit groups and making sure every entry is correct. In a village like Nadukuru, reputation is everything, so we just focus on doing the work properly without any unnecessary talk. The main street can get a bit noisy with the local traffic, but inside we just focus on the numbers. We don't use much in the way of modern technology; a simple calculator and some good registers are all we really need to keep things running. People from all over the mandal come by, and since we know most of them, there is usually a lot of local gossip shared over the desk. It’s a practical, local business and we don't try to make it seem like anything more than what it is. We just provide a place for people to manage their chits.
