Shri Sai Brick Industries

The kiln takes up a lot of our time here at Shri Sai Brick Industries. We are located at 4-5/76, Pn Colony in Gujarathipeta and most days it is just about managing the piles of bricks. It gets really hot near the ovens especially in the summer months but the work has to get done. We spend a lot of time checking the soil and making sure the shapes are right before they go in. People from around Gujarathipeta come by when they are starting to build a new wall or maybe a small house. The yard stays pretty messy with dust and broken bits of clay. It’s not a fancy office setup by any means. Our gate is usually open early in the morning so the tractors can get in and out without blocking the road in Pn Colony. Sometimes the rain slows us down which can be a bit of a headache for the drying process. We just keep moving though because there is always another order to fill. You can usually find one of us sitting by the small desk near the entrance handling the counts. It is a loud place with all the loading going on but that is just how it is. We have been at this address for a while now and most folks nearby know where to find the brick stacks. It’s hard work on the hands and we all end the day covered in red dust. It isn't easy work but it is what we do.
