Rama Krishna Engineering

Our place, Rama Krishna Engineering, is located right on the Main Road at G.T. Road. If you look for P.B. No. 63, that’s where you’ll find our workshop. It gets pretty loud out here with all the traffic passing by, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend most of our time at the back where the machines are. It’s a lot of metal work and fixing mechanical parts that people bring in from the nearby industries. The floor is usually covered in some oil or metal shavings, but that’s just how an engineering shop looks when it’s actually being used. We aren't the type to wear suits or sit behind desks much. Usually, someone is bent over a lathe or welding something together. It’s been our routine for a long time. People know us as the guys on G.T. Road who don't talk too much but get the job finished. We don't have a flashy sign or a fancy waiting room. Most folks just walk right into the work area to show us what needs fixing. It can get hot in the summer with the machines running, but we just keep the doors open to get a bit of a breeze. We take things as they come, one project at a time. It’s not a big operation, just a few of us making sure things are built right. We’ve been here long enough to see the road change, but the work stays the same.
