Neelam Jute Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of S.V.G.B. Colony for a long time now. Our address is 4-53, and we still use Post Box No. 64 for a lot of our mail, which feels a bit old-fashioned these days but it works. Being in the Srikaruram district means we are close to where a lot of the action happens with jute. The office is usually filled with that specific smell of natural fibers, which you get used to after a while. We have quite a few people from the colony working with us, so it feels like a big family most days. It’s not a high-tech factory or anything, just a lot of people working hard to process and pack things up. We’ve seen the district change a lot over the years, but our little corner has stayed pretty much the same. Sometimes we have issues with the power or getting materials delivered on time, but we just manage it as it comes. It’s a steady kind of business. We don't really have a big corporate structure; it’s more about the people on the floor and making sure things are okay. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the routine inside out. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot, but it’s what we know how to do best. We just keep going, day after day.
