Krishna High Clinic

Up here in Rajam, we run Krishna High Clinic. It’s a simple setup in a town where everyone knows everyone else. We don’t have a long, complicated address because Rajam is the kind of place where you just say the name and people know where to go. The clinic is basically a couple of rooms where we see patients for all sorts of everyday health problems. The walls are painted a light blue that’s starting to fade a bit near the windows. We have a desk that’s been here since the clinic started, and it’s covered in ledgers and pens. There isn't a computer system here; we still do things the old way with paper files. It’s quiet most of the time, except when the school nearby lets out and you can hear the kids on the street. We see a lot of people for fever, aches, and general checkups. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who keep the place running. Sometimes we have to wait for supplies to come in from the bigger cities, but we manage. People in Rajam appreciate that we are here and don't make a big fuss. It’s a practical clinic for a practical town. We open early in the morning before it gets too hot and usually head home once the sun goes down and the last patient is gone. We’ve been part of this street for years and we like it.
