Guraja Educational Society

Our group is called Guraja Educational Society. We are based out in Srikakulam, specifically in Sathivada. It’s a quiet place compared to the big cities. We operate from the village area near Gara Mandalam. The address is quite a mouthful, but locals know where to find us. We’ve been focusing on things here for a while. It’s not a fancy institution with glass walls. It’s more of a community-focused effort. We work out of a building that serves many purposes. People from Nizamabad village and surrounding spots come by. It’s about helping the local students and giving them a place to learn. We don't have a huge budget for advertising or anything like that. Most of the time, we’re just busy with the paperwork and talking to parents. The roads around here can be tough during the monsoon season. We deal with power cuts and slow internet, but we manage. It’s a slow pace of life in this part of Andhra Pradesh. We aren't a big corporate entity. It’s just a few of us trying to make a difference in the neighborhood. My family has roots here. We know the history of the land. We just want to see the kids do well. There isn't a grand mission written on the wall. We just show up and do the work every morning. It’s practical and it’s what the village needs right now. We often sit outside under the trees when the weather is nice.
