Our place is at 4-3-267, Lakshmipuram in Palakonda. It is a bit of a walk from the main center but everyone knows where we are. The building is older but it does the job just fine. Most days start early here because that is when the work gets done before the heat of the afternoon hits the roof. We have a few desks and a lot of ledgers and files. People from around Palakonda come by for various things. The yard is usually dusty and there is always someone moving something around. It is not a quiet place especially when the fans are humming in the office. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually go when we need a break. The work is steady and it keeps us on our toes. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us doing what needs to be done every day. The walls are a pale yellow that has faded over the years and there are marks where we have leaned chairs against them. We have a small radio in the corner that mostly plays local stations providing some background noise while we work. The gate outside has a bit of a squeak that we never get around to fixing. It is a practical way to live. We just handle the business at Lakshmipuram as it comes.
