Best Mart

Best Mart is located at 90-354 in Srikakulam. If you are near the bus stand, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. Despite the name, we are just a standard local mart. We sell snacks, cold drinks, and basic household items. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible on the shelves. Sometimes it’s hard for two people to pass each other in the aisle. We opened this place because the area near the bus stand is always busy and people need a quick place to grab things. My son helps me out in the afternoons after he finishes his studies. We deal with all sorts of people, travelers mostly. Some are in a hurry and some just want to chat while they wait for their bus. The floor gets dirty pretty fast with all the foot traffic, so we are always sweeping. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the shop and the sign out front. It’s a bit of a grind, working seven days a week, but that’s how small businesses go. We keep an eye on what people are buying and try to stock more of that. It’s not a corporate chain, just a family-run spot. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don’t even have to ask for what they want anymore. We just keep going.
