Our business is based in the G Block Area of Sri Ganganagar. We are located quite near the Uco Bank branch. It’s a decent spot because the bank brings a lot of people to the street. Sri Ganganagar gets very hot in the summer, so our days revolve around trying to keep the place cool. The shop has a high ceiling which helps a little. We usually have a pile of crates or boxes near the entrance that we’re working through. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s more of a working warehouse and trading spot. The street outside is wide enough for trucks to come in, which is helpful for our deliveries. We know the security guard at the bank and the tea seller down the corner. Usually, things are pretty predictable. We open the shutters, check the mail, and start the day’s tasks. Sometimes the dust from the dry wind gets everywhere, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the desks. The phone rings a lot, and we spend most of our time talking to people about orders. It’s honest work and we don’t put on any acts about it. We’ve been in G Block for a while and have seen the neighborhood change slowly over the years. We’re just a small part of the local trade here, doing our thing day in and day out without much fuss. It is a simple place where we keep ourselves busy.
