We’ve been here at Plot No. 12 for a good while now. Being in New Loha Mandi means there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around, especially since we are so close to the Power House. It’s a busy spot. Most days we are just focused on getting the orders right and making sure things are loaded properly onto the lorries. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, but we just keep going. People know where to find us because of the landmark nearby. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular workplace where we run R K Trading every day. We see a lot of the same faces coming through the gates. Sometimes we have tea together while waiting for a delivery to arrive. It gets dusty out here in the yard, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets hectic. Usually, it’s just about answering the phone and checking the stock levels. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the work is done out front or in the back where the goods are kept. If you ever come by, you’ll see us mostly busy with paperwork or talking to the drivers. It's a straightforward way to make a living and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the mandi over the years.
