Gupta Iron Store

If you are traveling down Suratgarh Road, you will see Gupta Iron Store right opposite the Hanumangi Ki Muriti. It’s a hard spot to miss because of the statue nearby. We deal mostly in iron rods, sheets, and other metal materials that people need for construction or repairs. The shop is basically a large shed filled with heavy metal that clangs together whenever we move it. It gets pretty loud in here when we are cutting pieces to size or loading up a trailer. We’ve been on Suratgarh Road for quite some time now, and we know many of the drivers and builders who pass through. The floors are hard and there’s usually a bit of rust dust in the corners, but that's what you expect from an iron store. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy displays; the piles of iron out front do the talking for us. Sometimes the sun hits the metal and makes the whole place feel like an oven, but we just keep working through it. We handle the billing ourselves on a small wooden desk near the entrance. It is a simple life of measuring, cutting, and carrying. People come to us because they know we are right here across from the muriti and we usually have what they need in the stacks. We try to be around most days, though sometimes we close up early if the heat gets to be too much. It is just a local business.
