Golyans Roller Flour Mills (P) Ltd. is actually tucked in with the Sri Ganganagar Cold Storage (P) Ltd. on Suratgarh Road. We are right by the Shiv Circle, which is a major landmark in this part of town. Being located at a cold storage site means there is always a lot of movement, with trucks coming in and out at odd hours. Our flour mill is a place of constant motion and a fine layer of white dust over everything. We spend our days monitoring the rollers and making sure the grinds are coming out the way they should. It is a loud environment, but we’ve all learned to communicate over the roar of the engines. Shiv Circle is usually a mess of traffic, which can make getting to work a bit of an adventure some mornings. We aren't the type of company with a sleek website or a bunch of marketing people. It is just us, the machinery, and the wheat. Most of the guys here have been working the mills for a decade or more, so they can tell if something is wrong just by the sound of the vibration. We keep the paperwork simple and the focus on the production floor. It is a grit-and-grind kind of life, and we don't try to pretend it is anything else. We just show up, do the milling, and go home tired. It is a basic operation, but it keeps the town supplied and us employed.
