Air Force School

Our school is located right inside the Air Force Station in Suratgarh. It’s a bit different from the schools you find in the middle of a regular city because we are part of the military base. The Air Force School has been here to serve the families living on the station for a long time. You can often hear the loud sounds of planes taking off or see the military vehicles moving around nearby, which is just a normal part of life for us. The building itself is sturdy and kept very tidy, as you’d expect for a place located on a station like this. We have a good amount of space for the kids to play and move around during their breaks. It’s a very orderly and quiet environment compared to schools outside. Most of the students are children of the personnel working here, so everyone kind of knows each other. It feels more like a small, tight community than just a regular school. We don’t do anything too fancy with the decorations inside, just the usual maps and student work on the walls. The weather in Suratgarh can be quite harsh, especially with the summer heat and the blowing sand, but we have our ways of staying comfortable inside the classrooms. We just follow the daily schedule, ring the bells on time, and make sure the kids are where they need to be. It’s a disciplined sort of place.
