Yummyday Foods is located in Shop No 4/128 at the Sukharia Shopping Centre. It’s a small shop, but we have managed to fit a lot into it. We deal with different kinds of packaged foods and snacks. The shopping centre is always full of life, especially in the evenings when families come out for a walk. Our shop is just one of many, so we don't have a huge sign or anything fancy to draw people in. Most of our customers are people who live nearby and have been coming to us for a while. I spend my time unpacking boxes and making sure the shelves look decent. It’s not a glamorous job. Sometimes the air conditioning in the mall doesn't work right, and it gets a bit stuffy inside the shop. We just open the door and keep going. We don't have a big mission statement or a board of directors. It’s just a few of us making sure we have the right snacks for the people who want them. Sometimes we try out a new product and if people don't like it, we don't stock it again. We listen to what the neighbors say. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We aren't trying to be a huge brand. We are just happy to have our little spot in the shopping centre where we can serve the local community every day.
