We are over on Shivalayam Street in Penukonda. It is a quiet enough spot, located on the first floor of the Vemanarayana Reddy building. Since Penukonda is a smaller place compared to the big cities, everyone kind of knows everyone else around here. We have been running this hotel for a while now. It is not a huge place with hundreds of rooms. It is much more manageable than that. We mostly see people coming through Anantapur for work or to visit the local historical sites. The street out front is usually okay, though it can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We focus on keeping the place clean and making sure the guests have the basic things they need. It is just a few of us working here. We handle the cleaning, the check-ins, and the general upkeep ourselves without any help from big corporate offices. We just do what makes sense for the guests who walk through the door. Being on the first floor at Door No. 4/5 means people do not have to climb too many stairs, which our older guests seem to appreciate. We like the neighborhood. Shivalayam Street has its own rhythm and we have built up a nice routine over the years. If you are looking for a place in the 515110 area, we are right there. It is a basic, functional hotel and we are happy with that.
