We are up on the first floor at No.1/106-1A in Vajralapeta. Being in Penukonda means we are part of the Anantapur district, which can get extremely hot and dry. Since we are on the first floor, we have to carry everything up the stairs, which keeps us in shape if nothing else. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now, and we know all the little problems it has, like the windows that stick when it rains. We handle all the daily tasks ourselves. We aren't a big company with many branches; we just have this one spot. Much of our day is spent making sure the kitchen is ready and the rooms are acceptable. It isn't a glamorous life, and there's a lot of cleaning involved because of the dust in this area. We get people from all over who are just passing through 515110. We don't have a mission statement or any of that; we just want to make sure the work gets done right. Sometimes we sit out on the landing during our breaks and watch the street below in Vajralapeta. It’s a simple operation, and we like it that way. We don’t use any complicated systems, just a notebook and some hard work. It takes a lot of effort to keep a hotel running in a place like this, but we are used to it by now.
