Ananda Rishi Foundation

Ananda Rishi Foundation is based up here at 18-244 in Hill Mount-15. Being in Simhadripuram gives us a good view, but more importantly, it puts us right in the middle of H.B. Colony where people actually live. We’ve been here for a while now, just quietly doing our thing. It’s not a big office with glass windows, just a space where we meet up and figure out how to help the local families. A lot of folks around here know us as the ones who are always asking questions about who’s sick or who’s out of work. We try to provide a bit of support where the government or bigger groups don’t quite reach. It’s mostly just chatting over tea and seeing if we can find a way to solve a small problem before it gets big. The foundation isn't something we do for show. It’s just what happens when you live in a place like this and you see your neighbors struggling. We keep things simple and honest. Some days are slow, just filing papers or cleaning up, and other days we’re running around the colony from morning till night. We don't have a big budget, so we make do with what’s available. It’s a bit messy sometimes, and we definitely don’t have everything figured out, but we’re here every day. That’s usually enough for most people in the neighborhood. We just hope to keep things moving forward for the colony.
