Suriya Competitions (Opc) Private Limited is our small operation in Paras Ram Nagar. The address is #MCB-Z-6-08354 on Street No- 13/G. It’s tucked away in a residential part of Bathinda. We don’t have a big storefront or neon lights. It’s just a simple room where we focus on competitive exam stuff. There’s a lot of competition out there, so we try to provide a quiet space for people to prepare. I usually sit at the main desk near the window. The street outside is usually quiet, except when the vegetable sellers come by with their carts. We have piles of practice tests and guidebooks stacked up against the walls. The floor is a bit worn out from all the feet coming in and out. It’s a one-person show mostly, since it's an OPC. I handle the paperwork, the cleaning, and the teaching. It keeps me very busy from morning till night. Sometimes the power goes out, and I have to use a rechargeable lamp to keep reading. I’ve lived in Bathinda my whole life, so I wanted to open something close to home. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a practical place for students to get some help. People find us through word of mouth mostly. It’s honest work and it keeps the days interesting. I just take things one day at a time and help whoever walks through the door.
