Tilak Ram Raj Kumar Kirana Merchant is located at Shop No 11 in Kranti Chowk, which is in the Mangad area of Sangaria. We are very near the bus stand, so we see a lot of travelers coming and going all day long. Being at a crossroads like Kranti Chowk means there is always something happening outside the door. We sell all sorts of grocery items, or kirana, as most people call it. The shop is filled with sacks of grain, spices, and other daily essentials that people in Sangaria need. We have been operating out of this small shop for quite some time. It’s a family-style environment where we know a lot of our customers' families and what they usually like to buy. The shelves are a bit crowded, and we often have to move things around to find exactly what someone is looking for. It gets dusty sometimes because of the buses and the road traffic, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning and dusting the jars. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people just know we are here at the Chowk. It’s hard work, staying open for long hours to serve the people getting off the buses, but it’s what we do. We just try to keep the basics in stock and help out whoever walks through the door. If someone needs a particular spice or a heavy bag of flour, we make sure they get it. It’s just a regular kirana shop doing its best in a busy part of Sangaria.
