Sach Ice Cream

Down here in the village of Lal Ganj Japan, things move a bit slower than they do in the cities. Sach Ice Cream is our little setup in the Sadulshahar tehsil area. Being out in this district means we know most of the faces that walk through the door every day. It is a simple place, mostly just a room with the big chests where we keep everything cold for the customers. Dealing with the heat out here is the biggest job we have. We spend a lot of time checking the generator to make sure nothing melts if the power goes out unexpectedly. It isn't like the big shops you see in the city with all the bright lights. We have a few wooden benches outside where people sit and talk while they eat their treats. You might see some dust from the road coming in, but that is just part of village life. We don't have a huge menu, just the basic things people like most. It can be a bit of a drive for anyone not living right here in the immediate area. We do our best to keep the stock full, even when the delivery truck is running late on the dusty roads. The kids from the local school are our best customers in the afternoons. Sometimes we just sit and watch the tractors go by while waiting for the next person. There is no rush to anything we do here.
