Sri Balaji Minerals

We are set up in Mannegunta, which is quite close to the Krinapatnam Port near Gudur. Being near the port is pretty important for what we do with minerals. The area is always busy with shipping containers and large lorries moving back and forth. Our site is a bit of a drive from the main town, so it’s quieter here than at the docks, but you still feel the energy of the port nearby. We handle a lot of raw materials that come through this region. The warehouse is a big steel structure that gets incredibly hot in the afternoons. We try to get most of the heavy sorting done in the cooler morning hours. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys from the nearby villages who know the materials we handle. We don’t use any complicated software to track things; we mostly rely on our notebooks and the experience we’ve gathered over the years. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes the metal equipment rust faster than we’d like, so there is always some maintenance to do. We don’t make a big show of things. We just receive the minerals, check them over, and get them ready for wherever they are headed next. It’s steady work and keeps us busy throughout the week. The days are long, but we’ve got a good routine down now. We just focus on the task at hand and getting it done.
