Southern Citrus Products (P ) Ltd. is based out of Kamala Bhavan in Varada Nagar. If you look for 15/337-16, that’s where you’ll find our office and where we handle the paperwork. Dealing with citrus means everything depends on the seasons and the fruit quality coming in. We spend a lot of time talking to growers and checking the stock. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of sticky floors and the smell of lemons and oranges everywhere. We’ve been in Varada Nagar for quite a bit. The building, Kamala Bhavan, is easy enough to find if you know the area. We have a small team here. Some of us handle the processing side and others look after the accounts. It gets busy when the harvest comes in. We have to move fast so nothing spoils. It’s a lot of coordination. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the product and getting it to where it needs to go. Sometimes the equipment acts up, or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it on the fly. It’s a lot of hard work, honestly. People think it’s easy, but managing fruit products takes a lot of attention. We stay here, do the work, and hope for a good season every year. It’s just how the business is, nothing too fancy, just regular work.
