We set up our office in Nellore, over in the A.K. Nagar area. The exact spot is 25/2/1124 in the Revenue Colony, near Dargamitta. Nellore is known for its heat, and our office definitely feels it during the long afternoons. We are into the agro business, so we are usually dealing with local produce and various farming supplies. It is a practical office without any of that modern glass and steel stuff you see in the big cities. We have old fans that hum all day and a lot of paper registers piled up on the shelves. The team is just a few of us who have lived in this part of Andhra Pradesh forever. We talk to people coming in from the surrounding villages every day. They bring in news about the crops and we see what we can do to help them with the supplies they need. It is a very local operation. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or anything like that. Most people know us from word of mouth or just because they have passed by our door in Dargamitta many times. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook, and other times it is quiet enough to hear the street noise outside. We deal with the daily ups and downs of the market. Prices change and the rain fails sometimes, but that is just how the agro business goes.
