We run Kowshitha Chit Funds Private Limited out of our office in West Gudur. The exact spot is D.no. 1/397/29 over in Malavya Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which helps when we’re trying to count things up and keep the accounts straight. We’ve been here in Gudur Mandal for a while, and the 524101 area is basically home to us. Our office is just a simple room with some desks and plenty of files. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy descriptions for us. It’s just us staff members handling the daily collections and making sure the chit auctions happen when they are supposed to. People from across SPSR Nellore come by to check on their accounts. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy in the heat, but we stay focused on the numbers. We aren't some big city firm with shiny glass walls. We’re just a local chit fund. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s a lot of responsibility, keeping track of everyone’s hard-earned money, so we take the record-keeping seriously even if the office looks a bit lived-in. We keep the ledger books on the shelves and the computer running. Most days are just about answering the phone and filing receipts. It’s regular, daily work here in Malavya Nagar. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
